Hunter Engineering to exhibit at Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 next month
Hunter Engineering will be among the more than 4,500 exhibitors taking part in the Automechanika Frankfurt 2026 trade fair in Frankfurt, Germany, Sept. 8-12.
The biannual event is one of the largest trade fairs for the European automotive service industry sector, expected to attract tens of thousands of attendees from more than 175 countries.

Hunter will be showcasing a wide selection of cutting-edge wheel service products, informative displays and numerous hands-on demonstrations to help current and future customers increase shop productivity and profitability. Prominent among them will be the groundbreaking autonomous WalkAway® System, created by pairing Hunter’s new Road Force WalkAway® wheel balancer with the standard-setting Revolution™ tire changer to reduce door-to-door four-tire changeover times by up to 44 percent.
The key innovation is integrating a new autonomous inflation arm into the balancer. When inflation is completed, the air chuck releases automatically and the spin begins, thereby freeing the technician to attend to other necessary tasks.
By stacking the usual changing and balancing tasks, the average changeover time of 34 minutes can be reduced by up to 15 minutes.

Maverick® Pro tire changer – Building on the popular original Maverick®, the new model includes a new ergonomic pick-and-place wheel lift and an under-wheel light to illuminate the lower roller and bottom bead.
HawkEye® XL aligner – Hunter’s versatile alignment system, designed for maximum speed, durability and ease of use for a wide range of commercial vehicles, provides highly accurate measurements in four minutes or less. Enhancements since Automechanika 2024 include magnetic wheel adapters, drive-through configuration and many software updates.
HunterNet® 2 customer portal – Now available internationally for the first time, Hunter’s online customer portal provides connected equipment reports and results, online consumable shopping, installed equipment information, training and more at no cost.
Quick Check® autonomous inspection system – Quick Check Drive® and Quick Check Edge® alignment and tire tread inspection systems accelerate alignment and tire business by instantly measuring alignment angles and edge-to-edge tire tread on every vehicle driving through the service lane, with no stopping or labor required.
